It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Manitowoc Lutheran had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Regis Ramblers. The win was nothing new for the Lancers as they're now sitting on ten straight.

Manitowoc Lutheran was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-27, 20-25, 23-25, 25-22, 15-12.

Regis' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Ava Skwierczynski, who had 16 digs, and Jacelin Jensen, who had 14 digs. Jensen is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in the last four games she's played.

Manitowoc Lutheran is on a roll lately: they've won 21 of their last 22 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 38-7 record this season. As for Regis, they moved to 23-8 with that loss, which also ended their 13-game winning streak.
