Basketball Recap: Oak Hill Academy International Comes Up Short

Oak Hill Academy International lost against Winston Salem Christian Silver back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Oak Hill Academy International Warriors fell 54-46 to the Winston Salem Christian Silver Lions. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 374th in Virginia, while the Lions are ranked 41st in North Carolina).

Oak Hill Academy International's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Winston Salem Christian Silver, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oak Hill Academy International will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Carolina Basketball Academy at 6:00 p.m. on February 25th. As for Winston Salem Christian Silver, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Quality Education Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
