Westby/Grenora extended the longest winning streak in Eastern 6-Man (6 Man) this week by beating Savage, 68-7. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
Westby/Grenora was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after topping the Warriors. The Gophers came in at 21 in the state poll after placing at number 28 last week.
Savage's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jordan Skaley-Lange has thrown for 278 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Tanner Hagler has 14 catches for 167 yards. Braden Feisthamel leads the league in rushing with 799 yards.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Savage takes on Hysham. Rick Adsit's team's offense has racked up 270 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while the Pirates have allowed only 149 on the year.
A big matchup in Eastern 6-Man (6 Man) this week will be when Terry takes on Westby/Grenora. The Terriers are in third place, while the Gophers are in first place.
Westby/Grenora took down the Warriors 68-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
