Basketball Game Preview: Wapanucka Indians vs. Kiowa Cowboys

The Wapanucka Indians are taking a road trip to face off against the Kiowa Cowboys at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Wapanucka hasn't scored more than 27 points for 14 games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Last Thursday, Wapanucka took a blow against Boswell, falling 63-25. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 477th, while the Scorpions are ranked 210th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Kiowa, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They breezed past Crowder to the tune of 76-41 on Monday. The Cowboys have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 21 points or more this season.

Wapanucka's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Kiowa, their victory bumped their record up to 14-6.
