Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Greenville Classical Academy walked away with it. They snuck past the Lake Pointe Academy Mariners with a 43-38 victory on Tuesday. The Lions' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The win got Greenville Classical Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Lake Pointe Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Greenville Classical Academy will take on New Covenant School at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. New Covenant School will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something Greenville Classical Academy surely won't give up without a fight. Lake Pointe Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
