Hermleigh barely beat Non Varsity Tournament Opponent the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hermleigh Cardinals put the hurt on Non Varsity Tournament Opponent with a sharp 13-7 victory on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Cardinals, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Peyton Miller was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up four earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing Four bases. while going 3-for-3. She also launched a home run, marking her first of the season.

In other batting news, Hermleigh let Hailey Minton and Syreah Callaway run wild. Minton is also crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn O'Quin, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3.
