Baseball Recap: Frontier Triumphs

Frontier owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Hanford Bullpups. The win continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Bullpups: they've now won six in a row.

Frontier got a great performance from Matthew Montes as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jonathan Holt, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayden Francisco, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Frontier's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Hanford, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 1-2.
