Flag Football Recap: Cook Takes a Loss

The Cook Hornets were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 12-7 to the Irwin County Indians. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cook's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Irwin County, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Cook will take on Worth County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Irwin County, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 32-0 loss against Valdosta on the 7th.
