Basketball Recap: Waltrip Rams vs. Spring Woods Tigers
After flying high against Milby last Wednesday, Waltrip came back down to earth. The Waltrip Rams lost to the Spring Woods Tigers at home by a 67-50 margin on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Spring Woods to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tavionn Pickens, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 15 rebounds. Waltrip's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Spring Woods, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.
