Basketball Recap: Claxton Comes Up Short

Claxton lost against Tattnall County back in February of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Claxton Tigers lost 83-62 to the Tattnall County Warriors. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Claxton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Tattnall County, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Claxton Tigers challenge the Portal Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Portal's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches. Tattnall County and Metter will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
