Basketball Game Preview: Bradford Christian Academy Sentinels vs. Berwick Academy Bulldogs

The Bradford Christian Academy Sentinels will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Berwick Academy Bulldogs at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Bradford Christian Academy is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They took a blow against Lexington Christian Academy last Tuesday, falling 70-38.

Meanwhile, Berwick Academy ended up a good deal behind Bancroft on Friday and lost 71-57. Berwick Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bradford Christian Academy will have to contain Noah Daniel as he made an impact in Berwick Academy's last game. He dropped a double-double on 34 points and 11 boards. That was a full 59.6% of Berwick Academy's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Ventura, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds.

Even though they lost, Berwick Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in eight consecutive matchups.

Everything came up roses for Bradford Christian Academy against Berwick Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2016, as the squad secured a 102-60 victory.
