Volleyball Game Preview: Beaumont Cougars vs. Redlands Terriers

The Beaumont Cougars will head out on the road to square off against the Redlands Terriers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Beaumont is coming into the game hot, having won their last ten games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Beaumont challenged Redlands East Valley on Thursday. Beaumont put the hurt on Redlands East Valley with a sharp 3-0 win. The Cougars not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 3, 2024.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-12, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Redlands waltzed into their match on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Thunderbirds.

Redlands had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 20-25, 25-23, 25-19, 25-9.

Redlands' victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4. As for Beaumont, their win bumped their record up to 14-3.

Beaumont beat Redlands 2-0 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will Beaumont repeat their success, or does Redlands has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
