Basketball Recap: Leonard Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Leonard entered their tilt with Lone Oak on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 58-56 victory over the Lone Oak Buffaloes. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since December 1, 2023.

Leonard pushed their record up to 9-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Lone Oak, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Leonard Tigers take on the Bells Panthers at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lone Oak, they will square off against Mount Vernon at 8:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
