Flag Football Game Preview: Miramonte Matadors vs. Ygnacio Valley Wolves + Official Tickets

The Miramonte Matadors will head out to take on the Ygnacio Valley Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Miramonte hasn't scored more than 13 points for eight games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Miramonte's offense might be in the hot seat on Wednesday considering what happened against Acalanes on Monday. They were outmatched by the Dons and fell 38-0. While losing is never fun, the Matadors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 572nd, while the Dons are ranked 69th).

Meanwhile, Ygnacio Valley was beaten by Clayton Valley Charter 47-13 on Monday.

Miramonte's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Ygnacio Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Miramonte beat Ygnacio Valley 20-12 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Matadors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
