Pelion extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Kolton Rogers. The Panthers walked away with a 59-46 victory over the Wagener-Salley War Eagles on Tuesday for which the team can thank Rogers, who dropped a double-double with 28 points and 15 boards. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Pelion's points.

Pelion's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Wagener-Salley, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Pelion will head out on the road to square off against Ridge Spring-Monetta at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wagener-Salley, they and Mid-Carolina will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played.
