Wolfe County typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Breathitt County proved too difficult a challenge. They had just enough and edged the Wolfe County Wolves out 8-7. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Breathitt County.
Sebastian Howard and Brady Tincher did most of the damage at the plate: Howard scored a run while going 3-for-4, while Tincher went 2-for-4 with two runs, a triple, and an RBI. Dillon Stacy was another key contributor, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
Breathitt County's victory bumped their record up to 18-15. As for Wolfe County, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-6.
