Football Recap: Jefferson Skates Past White Oak with Ease + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Jefferson, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They really took it to the White Oak Roughnecks for the full four quarters, racking up a 45-7 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won three matchups by 35 points or more so far this season.

Tre Moss was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 80 yards and two scores, and also picked up 93 receiving yards and one touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Jefferson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 277 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Jefferson's defense stepped up as well, laying out Jaxsen Ludlow 4.5 times. Markevion Tatum refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. Another thorn in White Oak's side was Kobin Tomlinson, who picked up a sack and made 11 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Despite the loss, White Oak still got an impressive performance from Ludlow, who rushed for 96 yards and one TD, and also threw for 105 yards on 14 of 32 attempts.

Jefferson's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-3. As for White Oak, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Coincidentally, Jefferson and White Oak will both be playing Sabine the next time they take the field. The Roughnecks will host the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
