Arvin is a perfect 10-0 against Mira Monte since March of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bears will venture away from home to face off against the Lions at 4:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Arvin is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Foothill just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans.

Meanwhile, Mira Monte was not able to break out of their rough patch last Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to South.

Mira Monte saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emmanuel Gonzalez, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Mira Monte's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Arvin, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 15-8-1.

Everything went Arvin's way against Mira Monte in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Arvin made off with a 6-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
