James Logan came out on top against Mission San Jose  on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run sixth inning. The Colts blew past the Warriors 10-0. The Colts might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six  runs or more this season.
 Corynn Gracey made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched. Those  eight  strikeouts gave  her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with one  triple, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Janessa Parras was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  RBI, one  triple,  and one  double. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in April of 2024.  Gloriana Townsend also deserves some recognition as  she  got her first  hit of the season.
 James Logan  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mission San Jose only posted  an  OBP of  .190.
The  victory was  the fourth in a row for James Logan, bringing their record up to 17-6-1. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Mission San Jose,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-12.
 James Logan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mission San Jose, they will square off against American at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.33  runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of.
