Wabash owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Taylor Titans as they made off with an 8-0 win. The Apaches have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Titans, too.

The result came thanks to Kalli Davis's shutout, as she gave up just two hits and racked up 15 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Andi Conliff was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024. Ava Lynn also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Wabash has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Taylor, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Coincidentally, Wabash and Taylor will both be playing North Miami the next time they take the field. The Titans will host the Warriors at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Apaches will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
