It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Brockport ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past the Spencerport Rangers 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Blue Devils have posted against the Rangers since May 9, 2016.

Brockport's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-5. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Spencerport, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Brockport will take on Greece Arcadia at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Devils are facing the Titans at the right time seeing as the Titans are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Spencerport, they will face off against Brighton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bruins will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Rangers surely won't give up without a fight.
