Baseball Recap: Dearborn Takes a Loss

Dearborn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Belleville Tigers, falling 15-5. If the Pioneers were looking for revenge after losing 16-2 to the Tigers when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Dearborn saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Derek Mincey, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Bilal Berry was another, going 3-for-4 with one run.

Dearborn's record now sits at 2-12. As for Belleville, their win ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-12.

While Dearborn had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
