Baseball Recap: Grosse Ile Comes Up Short

Grosse Ile and Trenton squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Grosse Ile had to settle for second. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 7-0. The Devils' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Grosse Ile saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matteo Gatti, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Grosse Ile's loss dropped their record down to 7-23. As for Trenton, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-10.

As of now, neither Grosse Ile nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
