Volleyball Recap: Calvary Baptist Comes Up Short

Calvary Baptist was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Providence Pioneers.

While Calvary Baptist was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Providence's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-17, 25-19.

Calvary Baptist's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Providence, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5.

Coincidentally, Calvary Baptist and Providence will both be playing Polytechnic the next time they take the court. Providence will head out to face Polytechnic at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday, while Calvary Baptist will host them at 3:30 p.m. on March 18th.
