Volleyball Recap: Pacifica Comes Up Short

Pacifica lost to Ventura back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tritons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The Tritons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Osvaldo 'Oz' Robles was the offensive standout of the contest as he had 11 digs and two aces.

Pacifica's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Ventura, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-6.

Looking ahead, Pacifica will take on Buena at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ventura, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Foothill Tech on the 18th.
