Softball Recap: Hammond Bishop Noll's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four games, Hammond Bishop Noll finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They fell just short of the Boone Grove Wolves by a score of 2-1. The Warriors have struggled against the Wolves recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Aiyanna (Yani) Espinosa made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one home run. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hammond Bishop Noll fell to 4-1. As for Boone Grove, with the win, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-7.
