Basketball Recap: New Bridge Academy Comes Up Short

New Bridge Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a blow against the West End Christian Crusaders, falling 56-22. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against New Bridge Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 74-31 back in December of 2024.

New Bridge Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Brody Snelson, who posted two points and 17 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ross Scott, who had eight points.

New Bridge Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for West End Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

New Bridge Academy is taking a road trip to challenge Yeshiva of Virginia at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for West End Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 51-50 win against Varsity Opponent on the 24th.
