Softball Recap: Maricopa Rams vs. McClintock Chargers
If Maricopa was feeling good fresh off their 13-6 takedown of West Point last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Maricopa Rams fell just short of the McClintock Chargers by a score of 9-8 on Tuesday. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2020.
Alanee Calderon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.
Even though they lost, Maricopa hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as McClintock struck out seven times.
