Basketball Recap: Thorne Bay Takes a Loss

Thorne Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 27th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Skagway Panthers and fell 62-25. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, with their most recent loss being a 64-16 defeat back in February.

Thorne Bay's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Skagway, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Thorne Bay didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-28 defeat against Hoonah on the 27th. As for Skagway, they have also already played their next contest, a 47-26 loss against Klawock on the 27th.
