Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Gladbrook-Reinbeck walked away with it. They strolled past the North Mahaska Warhawks with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 61-46. The win was familiar territory for the Rebels, who have now won six games in a row.

Gladbrook-Reinbeck's victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for North Mahaska, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 22-4 record.

Gladbrook-Reinbeck will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on North Linn on March 12th. North Linn knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 matchups -- so hopefully Gladbrook-Reinbeck likes a good challenge. North Mahaska does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
