Softball Recap: Andrews Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Andrews barely beat Timberland the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Everything went the Andrews Yellowjackets' way against the Timberland Wolves on Wednesday as the Andrews Yellowjackets made off with a 12-2 win. The Yellowjackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by six runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Andrews' fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10 runs. As for Timberland, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Andrews will welcome Conway at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Andrews' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so Conway's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Timberland, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Andrews at 7:00 p.m.
