Basketball Recap: Cody Takes a Loss

Cody lost against Osborn back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cody Comets had to suffer through a 73-13 loss at the hands of the Osborn Knights. While losing is never fun, the Comets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 530th, while the Knights are ranked 197th).

Cody now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Osborn, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Cody will take on Western International at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Western International's defense has only allowed 26.7 points per game this season, so Cody's offense will have their work cut out for them. Osborn has already played their next contest (against Hamtramck), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
