Volleyball Game Preview: Clovis West Golden Eagles vs. Poway Titans

The Clovis West Golden Eagles will be taking part in a tournament against the Poway Titans at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Clovis West is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Clovis West is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest victory since October 24, 2024 on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Doral Academy Red Rock 2-1.

Meanwhile, Poway beat Eldorado 2-0 on Friday.

Poway's win came from a few key players Clovis West will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ella Bear, who had 13 assists and two aces. Jenna Adelman also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Poway was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 19 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Clovis West's record is now 4-0. As for Poway, their record now sits at 3-5.
