Baseball Recap: Webster Schroeder Takes a Loss

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Webster Schroeder and Rush-Henrietta meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Warriors took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Royal Comets. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Webster Schroeder's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Rush-Henrietta, they pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Webster Schroeder will venture away from home to take on Victor at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rush-Henrietta will be paying especially close attention to the Warriors' contest: after the Warriors face off against the Blue Devils, they'll take on Rush-Henrietta again at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
