Volleyball Game Preview: Desert Chapel Eagles vs. Palm Valley FIREBIRDS

Desert Chapel hasn't had much luck against Palm Valley recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. Desert Chapel will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Wednesday, Desert Chapel made easy work of Noli Indian and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Desert Chapel walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-7, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Palm Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Noli Indian on Tuesday and fell 3-2. While the FIREBIRDS didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Braves 25-13 in the first set.

Palm Valley took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 13-25, 25-15, 23-25, 25-10, 25-9.

Palm Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Desert Chapel, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.

Desert Chapel beat Palm Valley 3-1 when the teams last played back in September. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the FIREBIRDS have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
