Baseball Recap: Oxbridge Academy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Oxbridge Academy can now relate to. They came up short against the King's Academy Lions on Monday, falling 14-4. The ThunderWolves haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Carlo Vasquez and Carson Bianco did some serious damage despite the final result: Vasquez scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Bianco scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Oxbridge Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for King's Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Oxbridge Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. King's Academy has already played their next game (against Saint Andrew's), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
