Baseball Recap: Bosco Tech's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Bosco Tech dropped their record down to 21-6 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mark Keppel Aztecs. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

As for Mark Keppel, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-17 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games.

For Mark Keppel's part, Julian Beltran made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts Beltran has posted since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

In other batting news, Connor Cheung was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one double.
