Jonathan Barber Jr Game Report: vs South Pointe

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Jonathan Barber Jr: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He also made two total tackles (0.5 for loss), but sadly Northwestern still had to take a 27-23 loss at the hands of South Pointe. We hope Barber Jr's good effort is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Looking ahead, Barber Jr and Northwestern will head out to challenge Nation Ford at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The last time Barber Jr duked it out with the Falcons (back in September of 2024), the Trojans came out on top by a score of 67-13. Will another strong game from Barber Jr be enough to do it again?
