Baseball Recap: White River Valley Takes a Loss

White River Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 20-1 to the Greencastle Tiger Cubs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolverines of the 19-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

White River Valley's record now sits at 0-4. As for Greencastle, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. White River Valley will head out to square off against Clay City at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greencastle, they will venture away from home to face off against Northview at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give the Tiger Cubs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
