Baseball Recap: Sharpstown Takes a Loss

Sharpstown fell victim to Spring Woods and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Tigers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Apollos have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Sharpstown's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Spring Woods, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sharpstown will host Waltrip at 7:30 p.m. on the 17th. The Rams' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Apollos' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Spring Woods, they will welcome Galena Park at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
