Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Basic). They blew past the Silverado Skyhawks 57-13 on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Wolves needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.

Basic didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of ELI MIRANDA and Jasmyne Johnson.

Basic's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 11-7. As for Silverado, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-10.

Basic didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-12 defeat against Southeast Career Tech on the 24th. Silverado has also already played their next contest, a 33-12 loss against Las Vegas on the 27th.
