Softball Recap: Carroll Finishes Even with Eufaula

On Tuesday, the Carroll Eagles and the Eufaula Tigers finished up on equal footing with a 9-9 tie.

Natalie Draper spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and six unearned) runs on 12 hits. What's more, she gave up only one walk, the fewest she's had since back in March of 2024.

With that tie, Carroll's record moves to 7-5-1. As for Eufaula, they moved theirs to 3-10-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carroll will venture away from home to square off against Houston Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games Carroll has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Eufaula, they will head out to take on Highland Home at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Eufaula is facing Highland Home at the right time seeing as Highland Home is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
