Basketball Recap: Central Aroostook Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Central Aroostook had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They strolled past the Fort Fairfield Tigers with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 73-57. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 63-49 back in December of 2024.

Central Aroostook's victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8. As for Fort Fairfield, they moved to 6-6 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Central Aroostook will take on Washburn at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fort Fairfield, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Fort Fairfield Tigers challenge the Katahdin Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
