            Basketball Recap: St. Peter's Eagles vs. Christ the King Royals        
        
		
        
        
            St. Peter played a tough  matchup  on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a   94-64 loss at the hands of the Christ the King Royals. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  53-33.
 Despite the loss, St. Peter's still got an impressive performance from   Talib Martin, who  went 10 of 18  on his way to 25 points and five  rebounds. Martin continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Aidan Schmitt, who  posted five  points along with seven  assists and six  boards.
St. Peter's has  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record  this season. As for Christ the King,  the  victory  got them back to even at 11-11.
 St. Peter's does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Christ the King has  already played their next  contest (against Mt. St. Michael Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
