Basketball Recap: Freeman Academy/Marion Comes Up Short

Freeman Academy/Marion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 45-36 to the Alcester-Hudson Cubs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Alcester-Hudson this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 40-33 back in January.

Freeman Academy/Marion's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Alcester-Hudson, their win bumped their record up to 4-15.

While Freeman Academy/Marion had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
