Volleyball Game Preview: Baldwin Park Braves vs. Azusa Aztecs

Baldwin Park hasn't had much luck against Azusa recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Braves will square off against the Aztecs at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with eight defeats in a row, Baldwin Park turned things around against Garey on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Vikings.

The win didn't come easy: Garey scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 19-25, 27-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Azusa beat Sierra Vista 3-1 on Friday.

Azusa's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Baldwin Park, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 6-11.

Baldwin Park suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Azusa in their previous matchup on September 12th. Can the Braves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
