Soccer Game Preview: Citronelle vs. Mobile Christian

The Citronelle Wildcats will take on the Mobile Christian Leopards at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Citronelle's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Citronelle's offense. They came up short against St. Paul's Episcopal on Tuesday, falling 6-0.

Meanwhile, Mobile Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 9-0 to UMS-Wright Prep.

Citronelle's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Mobile Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Citronelle came out on top in a nail-biter against Mobile Christian when the teams last played back in February of 2019, sneaking past 3-2. Does Citronelle have another victory up their sleeve, or will Mobile Christian turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
