Bear Creek's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Valor Christian, their win bumped their record up to 11-1.

Valor Christian took their victory against Bear Creek in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
