Baseball Game Preview: Sheboygan Area Lutheran Crusaders vs. Howards Grove Tigers

Sheboygan Area Lutheran hasn't had much luck against Howards Grove recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Crusaders will take on the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Sheboygan Area Lutheran is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Thursday. They came up short against Cedar Grove-Belgium, falling 10-0.

Meanwhile, Howards Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-2 to Winnebago Lutheran Academy.

Howards Grove saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Miller, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run. Hayden Hanke also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Sheboygan Area Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Howards Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 4-18.
