Volleyball Recap: Lena-Winslow Picks Up Third Consecutive Win + How To Watch

Lena-Winslow had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Eastland Cougars. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Kaitlin LInden paced Lena-Winslow's offense, picking up eight kills. LInden got some help from Emily Goebel and her 18 assists. Brianna Fye controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Eastland's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Morgan McCullough, who had 16 digs and four assists, and Kalena Rominski, who had ten digs and two aces. McCullough is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Sienna Peterson also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Lena-Winslow's victory bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Eastland, their defeat ended a nine-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 16-5.

Looking ahead, Lena-Winslow will head out to challenge Orangeville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eastland, they will be taking part in a tournament against Dundee-Crown at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
